Performance Strategy
This book is sold directly by the author. In the previous ad set, the videos that highlighted the author performed well, so that angle is built into many of these static assets. Another angle that performed in the past led with the retired assassin main character himself rather than the book’s plot. For carousels, the best-performing one in the past was a "meet the alehouse" carousel, so all 3 here are sequences of real photos or composited settings that tell a story, rather than cover art or illustrations.
Audience: Adult cozy fantasy readers, 25 to 55, who read for comfort, found family, and low-stakes mystery, plus readers who already own "Guard in the Garden" or a Finlestia bundle and like buying signed copies directly from the author. Lead with the retired assassin and with Zac, not with the series.
Key Message: The world's deadliest assassin walked away from it all to wash dishes at a seaside alehouse. Signed and packed by the author himself.
Tone: Warm, dry, a little funny. Pub comfort, not epic fantasy. First person when the author speaks.
Guidelines:
No prices, dollar figures, or discount percentages anywhere.
No AI-generated imagery. Real assets only: either the new author photos, the set photos on the product page, clean mockups, or licensed stock images.
